Woman allegedly choked on 38th Street

Police are investigating an aggravated assault after a woman was punched repeatedly and choked in a 400 block 38th Street home Monday, according to a Columbus Police report.

The alleged assault happened outside the home at about 11:15 p.m. No suspects were described, though the report states the 23-year-old woman knew her assailant.

No further information was available. No arrests were made.
