Failure to show driver's license leads to Schedule III possession arrest

Police found an unknown synthetic narcotic allegedly in the possession of a Crystal Drive man Thursday afternoon, according to a Columbus Police report.

Bobby Guthrie, 42, was pulled over for an unspecified reason at about 4:45 p.m near the intersection of Oates Avenue and 40th Street. He was charged with possession of a Schedule III drug, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug related objects and failure to exhibit a driver's license. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
