Columbus man reports being stabbed and robbed

A 23-year-old Columbus man told police he was stabbed in the arm and robbed around 12:35 a.m. Saturday.

According to the police report, the man suffered a half inch entry and exit wound to the right upper bicep.

The crime occurred in the area of Leary Avenue and Murrelle Street.

The victim told police the thieves were two black men in their 20s. One wore a white hat and the other a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

The victim was taken to Midtown Medical Center where he was treated.

The report did not list what items of value the thieves took.
