Man stable after being shot in side

Columbus police are investigating a shooting on Plateau Drive.

According to the police report, the incident occurred around 9:42 p.m. Friday.

The victim was a 37-year-old Columbus resident.

He was shot in the right side and transported to Midtown Medical Center (formerly The Medical Center) for treatment in stable condition.

The suspect is a black male in his 20s who was wearing a gray hoodie.

Man reports being stabbed in the right bicep, robbed

A 23-year-old Columbus man told police he was stabbed in the arm and robbed around 12:35 a.m. Saturday.

According to the police report, the man suffered a half-inch entry and exit wound to the right upper bicep.

The crime occurred in the area of Leary Avenue and Murrelle Street.

The victim told police the thieves were two black men in their 20s. One wore a white hat and the other a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

The victim was treated at Midtown Medical Center (formerly The Medical Center) .

Car reported stolen from Foye Avenue residence

Columbus police are investigating the report of a car theft on Foye Avenue.

According to the police report, the owner said the 2010 Ford Edge was in his front driveway and was locked.

The victim told police the crime occurred between 2 p.m. Friday and 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The value of the vehicle is estimated at $25,000.

Electronics stolen from home on Palomino Drive

Columbus police are investigating a reported burglary on Palomino Drive in which items, most of them electronic, were taken.

The value of the items is estimated to be $2,730.

The crime occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday.
