Report: Ex-boyfriend breaks into woman's house, chokes her

A Central Circle woman was allegedly pushed to the floor and choked Sunday after he ex-boyfriend broke into her house, according to a Columbus Police report.

The 26-year-old woman told police that 27-year-old Kevin Riser broke into her home through her south bathroom window at about 3:30 a.m. He then allegedly choked her, which caused bruising on her neck.

Riser is described as a 5-foot-11 black man who weighs about 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and was reportedly wearing black shorts and a grey shirt during the incident.
