Columbus State volleyball sweeps past Fort Valley State

The Columbus State volleyball team swept past Fort Valley State 3-0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-16) on Wednesday night at the Lumpkin Center.

It was CSU's third win over Fort Valley this season.

The Lady Cougars (11-6) was led by Mary McCarty with 11 kills. Freshman Kylie Beaubien had a career-high nine kills. She added four aces.

Freshman setter Ivana Kazic had 23 assists and four aces. Freshman libero Taylor Ray had nine digs.

CSU hosts Peach Belt Conference foes Francis Marion at 7 p.m. Friday and UNC Pembroke at 2 p.m. Saturday.
