The Muscogee County School District will conduct its next community forum Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. in Baker Middle School, 1215 Benning Drive.

The district calls these periodic gatherings VOICE -- Value Opinions, Involvement and Concerns in Education.

Valerie Fuller, the district's communications director, said in a news release Thursday that MCSD is "committed to keeping an open line of communication for all citizens. We are holding open community forums to hear you voice. Our goal is to raise awareness, dispel rumors, address concerns, answer questions and receive suggestions. There is no agenda for these meetings except to give you a voice in the education of our children."

To submit a question before the forum, email Fuller at or call 706-748-2034.
