Masked men rob Dollar General on St. Marys Road

Two men armed with a machete robbed the Dollar General store of St. Marys Road late Wednesday and fled with cash, Columbus police said.

No one was injured in the 9:30 p.m. holdup at 3846 St. Marys Road.

The robbers entered the store and threatened an employee with a machete. The men left the business with an undisclosed amount of cash from the registers.

Police have no suspects in the robbery which remains under investigation. At least one of the robbers was wearing a Halloween mask during the robbery.
