11-year-old robbed en route to Richards Middle School

An 11-year-old girl reported she was robbed by an unknown number of juveniles as she was making her way to Richards Middle School, according to a Columbus Police report.

The student told police the juveniles robbed her at about 7:55 a.m. on the side of the road. Officers did not list items stolen on the report.

A report also indicates the victim was harmed during the robbery, as the juveniles are additionally wanted for simple assault. No injuries were listed, however.

No description was provided due to the age of the suspects. We'll update as more information becomes available.
