Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Circle K at knife-point Friday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the Circle K gas station on Buena Vista Road, according to a Columbus police report, where clerks advised them that a black male had entered the store at about 12:45 a.m. and demanded money from the registers. The man was armed with a knife, which he reportedly "brandished."

The report did not list the amount stolen.

Detectives and ID units arrived on the scene shortly after. The case remains under investigation.

The armed robbery suspect is described as a black man with light complexion, about 25-30 years old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, with a goatee and mustache. He was last seen wearing a white T-Shirt with a white-black scarf or bandana draped over his neck and blue jeans with grey shoes.

Anyone with information should call Investigate Services at 706-653-3400 or 911. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
