Russell County 55, Marbury 19: Russell County outclasses Marbury

NORTH DEATSVILLE, Ala. -- Russell County cruised to a 55-19 victory over Marbury thanks to a prolific ground game that produced five touchdowns.

Joshua Johnson had touchdown runs of 80 yards and 5 yards, while Byron Johnson rushed for touchdowns from 8 and 7 yards out.

Deandre Horace had a 50-yard fumble return for a score, and Cameron Brooks returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown.

Quarterback Curtez Woods threw a 50-yard pass for as score to Caleb Smith for Russell County's other touchdown.

Joshua Johnson had 142 rushing yards and 19 receiving yards on the night. Caleb Smith had 128 all-purpose yards and forced two fumbles, and Chevel Smith had an interception he returned 43 yards.
