AUBURN, Ala. — We're a little less than half an hour few minutes away from kickoff, here are a few pregame notes before Auburn and Western Carolina face off this afternoon in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

  • This news was already tweeted out by head coach Gus Malzahn Friday, but true freshman quarterback Jeremy Johnson will make his first career start in place of the injured Nick Marshall. The Tigers had two other changes to its starting lineup, both coming on offense: Avery Young is moving into Patrick Miller's place at right tackle while junior receiver Trovon Reed is replacing Brandon Fulse's spot.
  • Western Carolina made only one change, with Terrence Green lining up at cornerback in the spot normally manned by Dante Stewart.
  • The temperature was 76 degrees one hour before kickoff, with a light breeze accompanying sunny and clear skies.
