Columbus State 3, Flagler 0: CSU wins on 3 late goals

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The Columbus State Lady Cougars soccer team defeated Flagler College 3-0 Monday.

The score was tied 0-0 until CSU scored three goals in the final 10 minutes of the match. Nicole Corcione and Chelsea Person helped set up a goal by Andi Larese at the 82:01 mark, and just 39 seconds later Corcione put in a goal assisted by Shea Wilby.

At 86:35 on the clock it was Larese this time that set up Corcione for her second goal, giving CSU the 3-0 win.

Keeper Meosha Hatcher stopped the lone shot on goal of the contest for Flagler to keep a clean sheet.

Columbus State is now 9-3 overall and undefeated at 6-0 in Peach Belt Conference play.

The Lady Cougars will host Valdosta State Friday at 4 p.m.
