William Turner said a restaurant employee was on her way to the bank to make a deposit shortly before 9:30 a.m. when two juveniles on bicycles rode near her. One grabbed the money bag. 10/15/13

A money bag was snatched in front of the Momma Goldberg's restaurant on Broadway in Columbus Tuesday morning.

Police Capt. William Turner said a restaurant employee was on her way to the bank to make a deposit shortly before 9:30 a.m. when two juveniles on bicycles rode near her. One grabbed the money bag.

Seeing what happened, two employees of the Business Improvement District chased the juveniles.

The money bag was dropped along the way.

One of the suspects was arrested by police at the 14th Street Bridge. Turner said the other got away.

The restaurant employee was unharmed.

The investigation will continue. Anyone with information should contact the Columbus police.
