A routine traffic stop Wednesday afternoon ended with arrests for forgery, possession and crossing the center line, according to a Columbus police report.
An officer observed a burgundy Dodge Ram at about 1:45 p.m. crossing the center line near the intersection of 14th Avenue and 21st Street.
The subsequent traffic stop revealed forged documents and dangerous drugs, which are defined by the Georgia Code as "any drug other than a drug" as defined by the Georgia Controlled Substance Act, and typically includes prescription drugs.
Shirlynn Etter, 30, and Rafael Colon, 56, were arrested at the scene and taken to the Muscogee County Jail.
Etter is charged with two counts of forgery; both are charged with possession.
The drugs they allegedly possessed were not listed.
