Lock it in!: Picks for this week's high school football games

dmitchell@ledger-enquirerOctober 17, 2013

After its win over Opelika last week, Smiths Station over Carver-Montgomery seemed like an easier pick. Careful, though. Carver is still one of the state’s best teams and very capable of derailing the Panthers’ perfect season.

Some other games that gave me trouble:

Bowdon-Spencer, Manchester-Bremen, Marion County-Dooly County, Valley-Russell County.

The last one is one the Warriors can certainly win, but I have next week pegged as their playoff clincher.

It will be an interesting week. Let me know your thoughts in the comments and be sure to follow on Twitter @leprepsports.
