Carver plays Southwest-Macon at 7 at Memorial

Columbus plays Troup at 7 at Kinnett

and Central plays in Montgomery against Sidney Lanier at 8

Where: Memorial Stadium

Records: Carver 5-1, 2-0 Region 2-AAA. Southwest-Macon 0-7, 0-3.

Last week: Carver beat Henry County 48-14. Southwest-Macon lost to Pike County 48-0.

Last meeting: Carver won 53-0 last season.

Series: Southwest-Macon leads 7-1-1.

You need to know: Carver needs to get through this game and next week against Central-Macon (1-5), then the showdown against Peach County will take place on Nov. 1.

Records: Columbus 1-5, 0-3 Region 5-AAAA. Troup 2-4, 1-2.

Last week: Columbus lost to Fayette County 34-6. Troup lost to Carrollton 49-12.

Where: Cramton Bowl, Montgomery, Ala.

Records: Central 3-4, 2-3 Class 6A Region 3. Sidney Lanier 0-7, 0-5.

Last week: Central lost to Auburn 23-17. Sidney Lanier lost to Jeff Davis 36-14.

Last meeting: Central won 48-32 last season.

Series: Sidney Lanier leads 13-9.

You need to know: Central's playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. The Red Devils must won tonight and next week against Smiths Station, while Carver-Montgomery loses both of its games, Friday at Smiths Station and home against Sidney Lanier.
