Jaguars' Blackmon, Shorts questionable

The Sports NetworkOctober 18, 2013

Jacksonville, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have listed wide receivers Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Chargers.

Coming off a four-game suspension at the start of the season, Blackmon (hamstring) has hauled in 19 passes for 326 yards in two games. Shorts suffered a shoulder sprain in the first half of last week's loss to the Broncos. He has 31 receptions for 411 yards and one touchdown in six games this year.

Safety Johnathan Cyprien (calf) and cornerback Dwayne Gratz (ankle) are also listed as questionable.

Wide receivers Stephen Burton and Ace Sanders have been ruled out of Sunday's game because of concussions.

The Jaguars will also be without the services of quarterback Blaine Gabbert, who is still recovering from his Week 5 hamstring injury, and defensive lineman Jeremy Mincey (concussion).

Tight end Marcedes Lewis is expected to be back in the lineup Sunday. He reinjured his calf in Week 4 against the Colts, the only game that he's played in this season. The UCLA product is probable for Sunday's game.
