Kendrick 36, Chattahoochee County 7: Wade, Hines score two TDs apiece in Kendrick win

CUSSETTA, Ga. -- Brandon Wade and Jon Hines scored two touchdowns apiece as Kendrick rolled past Chattahoochee County 36-7 on Friday night at Panther Stadium.

The Cherokees (3-4, 2-3 Region 5-AA) rushed for 274 yards.

Chattahoochee County (2-5, 0-5) scored in the first quarter to take a 7-0 lead.

The Cherokees responded with a pair of touchdowns in the second quarter and two more in the third for a 30-7 lead.

Reno Lee led the Cherokees with 81 yards on 18 carries. Wade had 76 yards on seven carries.

Kendrick, which plays at Manchester next week, is in sixth place in the region, a game behind Manchester and Spencer.
