Bainbridge 29, Hardaway 12: Hawks' can't hang on to halftime lead

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. — Bainbridge scored 17 points in the fourth quarter on its way to a 29-12 win over Hardaway on Friday night.

The Bearcats scored the first nine points of the game, but Hardaway bounced back to take a 12-9 lead by intermission.

Torrie Beard scored the Hawks' first touchdown on a 1-yard fumble recovery.

Justin Crawford gave the Hawks a 12-9 lead on a 1-yard run with just 25 seconds left.

Daniel Provence kicked his second field goal in the third quarter to tie the game for Bainbridge.

The Bearcats took the lead on a 32-yard Preston Norris to Tavarous Bowens touchdown pass. Provence kicked another field goal for a 22-12 lead.

Bainbridge's final score came on Tremaine McCray's 99-yard fumble return.

Crawford rushed for 154 yards.
