Police arrest woman who called 911 about drunk boyfriend

A Columbus woman accused of abusing the 9-1-1 system was jailed late Friday after she called authorities for help with her drunk boyfriend, police said.

Tammey Dobbs, 51, was held at Muscogee County Jail for a hearing today in Columbus Recorder’s Court.

In a report, police said two officers were sent to Dobbs’ home at 2907 First Ave. about 7:15 p.m. after she called about problems with her drunk boyfriend.

No charges were filed against the boyfriend.
