Columbus man reports being attacked, robbed on 48th Street

A 25-year-old Columbus man told police he was attacked and robbed on 48th Street between 12th Avenue and 13th Avenue.

According to the police report, the crime occurred sometime between 9:30 p.m. Friday and the time it was reported 1:32 a.m. Saturday.

The victim told police the thief hit him with fists and a pistol.

Police reported that the victim had lacerations below his left eye and on his forehead and elbows.

He was not taken anywhere for treatment.

He told police the thief got away with $200 in cash.

There was no description of the suspect in the report.
