Auburn football: Bowl projections for the surging Tigers

rblack@ledger-enquirer.comOctober 23, 2013

Auburn's upset victory against Texas A&M rocketed the Tigers up the rankings, moving them up to No. 11 in the most recent Associated Press poll and reserving the same spot in the first edition of the BCS Standings.

The win also secured Auburn's sixth victory of the season, doubling up last season's total, and more importantly, clinching bowl eligibility. While there's still a lot of time between now and the end of the regular season, it's always fun to forecast ahead.

With that in mind, I broke down the Tigers' potential bowl destinations, in ascending order.
