Woman arrested in alleged 6th Avenue stabbing

A woman was arrested late Tuesday after allegedly stabbing another woman in the bicep and breast, according to a Columbus police report.

Officers reported to the 600 block of 40th Street at about 9:30 p.m. in reference to an aggravated assault.

Sheila Hunter, 52, was arrested and taken to the Muscogee County Jail.

The victim was allegedly stabbed with a knife in street outside Hunter's home.

The two are not listed as strangers.
