Series: Manchester leads 3-0.

You need to know: Manchester is tied with Spencer for third in the region with Manchester, a half-game ahead of Bremen and a game ahead of Kendrick. This is a must win for Kendrick, if the Cherokees are to return to the playoffs for the second straight year.

Where: Centennial Stadium, Bainbridge, Ga.

Records: Northside 1-6, 0-2 Region 1-AAAAA. Bainbridge 3-4, 1-2.

Last week: Northside lost 42-21 to Harris County. Bainbridge beat Hardaway 29-12.

Last meeting: Bainbridge won 48-7 last season.

Series: Bainbridge leads 3-0.

You need to know: Northside has lost five straight. … Bainbridge scored the final 17 points to beat Hardaway 29-12 last week.

The rest of the field for both the public- and private-school playoffs are determined by power rankings. Marion County is No. 1 in the public-school rankings. Brookstone is 12th in the private.

You need to know: Russell County clinched its playoff berth last week when Carroll-Ozark lost. It is the Warriors' first playoff berth since 2001.
