Dooly County 55, Pacelli 28: Peterson throws for TD, runs for two more but Dooly County feasts on Viking turnovers

October 25, 2013

VIENNA, Ga. -- Wyatt Peterson threw for one touchdown and ran for two more, but Dooly County took advantage of three Viking turnovers in the third quarter to blow the game open.

Peterson was 11-of-19 for 160 yards through the air, and he ran for 82 yards on 17 carries.

Bryan Foster had five catches for 61 yards.

Coach Randy Grace said the team had a good game offensively, but the three turnovers in the third quarter was difference.

"Their speed killed us," Grace said. "And we didn't tackle very well."

Peterson had a 67-yard pass to DeAndre Bowman that set up a 1-yard touchdown run by Peterson in the first quarter. Peterson connected with Bowman in the third quarter for a 29-yard touchdown pass.
