Police seek 60-year-old woman for simple battery

A warrant has been taken out for 60-year-old Myra Jean Evans after she allegedly attacked her friend at his Seventh Street home Wednesday, according to a Columbus Police report.

The 46-year-old victim told police Evans became furious after he asked her to leave his home, located on the 2900 block of Seventh Street. When he insisted she go home at about 3:30 a.m., she allegedly attacked him, leaving scratch marks on his left forearm.

Police are still seeking Evans. She is described as a 5-foot-5 black woman who weighs about 145 pounds. She has short hair.
