Lock it in!: Picks for this week's high school football games

dmitchell@ledger-enquirerOctober 31, 2013

Well, my goal of reaching 85-percent successful picks is all but shot. If I’m perfect for the rest of the season, I’ll finish at 84.8 percent, which we can round to 85.

That said, that’s a tall order.

There were some fun picks this week, starting, of course with the Carver-Peach County game, but another one that caught my eye is Russell County-Dadeville.

The Warriors have never defeated Dadeville in six tries in program history, losing the game by 12 points last year. Dadeville, once again, is a very solid team in Class 4A, but I think Russell County has made the improvements necessary to take the ‘W’ in this one.

Here are the picks. Let me know your thoughts in the comments and be sure to follow on Twitter @leprepsports.
