Bitstrips on Facebook: Endearing or annoying?

Rough news: The cute little comic you posted on your Facebook page isn't that funny after all.

OK, that's just my opinion.

In case you're still out of the loop, ABC News has the scoop on those comics that are appearing in your Facebook news feed.

It notes, "So, where the heck are all these colorful sketched ladies and men coming from? A Facebook mobile app called Bitstrips. The app isn't exactly new -- the company launched its Facebook app in December 2012 -- but it just released its iPhone app at the end of September and updated it earlier this week, along with its Android app."

The comics came with a warm reception...then the inevitable backlash.
