Man reports being robbed of Nike Dunks at gunpoint on 6th Avenue

A 24-year-old Columbus man told police he was robbed at gunpoint on 6th Avenue a few minutes after 2 a.m. Saturday.

According to the police report, the crime happened near Greater Beaulah Baptist Church.

The man told police that two black males with a pistol took a pair of black and silver Nike Dunks, a Chicago Bulls cap and $216 in cash. The value of the shoes and cap is estimated at $105.

The victim was not injured.

One of the men was described as having closely cropped hair, a goatee and a neck tattoo.

The other had dreadlocks.
