A homeless man allegedly pushed a woman to the ground, causing injuries to her face Saturday night, according to a Columbus Police report.

The 31-year-old woman accused Joseph Elliott, 36, of shoving her to the ground at the intersection of 16th Street and Fifth Avenue at about 11 p.m. The reason for the tussle was not given.

Because she was allegedly pushed, the woman received lacerations to her nose and forehead, the report stated.
