Troopers: Salem man killed in motorcycle crash

A Salem, Ala., man is dead after losing control of his Harley-Davidson and crashing early Saturday morning, according to Alabama Public Safety.

David Deluca, 40, was two miles west of Smiths Station, Ala., on Lee Road 179, when his 2012 motorcycle left the roadway at about 3 a.m., killing him.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The troopers are investigating.
