Marion County 68, Central-Talbotton 0: Eagles win Region 4-A title

CUSSETTA, Ga. -- The Marion County Eagles shut out Central-Talbotton in a 68-0 win Friday night at Eagle Stadium.

The Eagles clinched the Region 4-A title with the win, marking the team's fourth region title in as many years.

Mykelle Burton had 11 carries for 166 yards and three touchdowns on the night, and Trae Swanson had three catches for 31 yards and one touchdown.

Johnny Royal added touchdown runs of 4 and 10 yards. Hayden Gray led the Eagles in tackles on the night with seven.

Marion County is now 9-1 on the season. The Eagles' next opponent was yet to be determined at press time, but the game will be hosted by Marion County on Friday, Nov. 22.Friday at Marion CountyTalbotton 0 0 0 0--0
