Shots fired at South Lumpkin Circle K

The driver of a 1993 Mercury allegedly threatened a Circle K patron with a gun Monday morning before firing an undisclosed type of gun, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police arrived at about 12:30 a.m. after they received reports of gunshot at the 1715 South Lumpkin Road gas station. A 38-year-old victim informed police that the driver of a maroon Grand Marquis pointed a pistol at him. The car allegedly had a "candy" paint job. Its license plate number PQE2195.

The suspect was described as a black man in his 20s, wearing a mask, black hoodie and blue jeans.

No suspects have been named. Those with information should contact Investigative Services at 706 653 3400.
