Robbers pistol whip man outside Old Cusseta Road apartment

A 24-year-old man was reportedly beaten about the face with a pistol by three robbers Tuesday afternoon outside an Old Cusseta Road apartment complex, according to a Columbus Police report.

The victim told police that three men came up to him while he was in his car outside an apartment on the 4200 block at about 2 p.m. One suspect struck him several times in the face while another picked money out of his pockets.

The men allegedly ran off with $50 of the victim's money.

All three suspects were described as black men in their 30s. Two were described as having short hair and light skin, and were wearing a white shirt at the time. The other suspect was described as having long dreads, and allegedly was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
