Random stops lead to cocaine arrest

Officers arrested one Columbus driver after he made several impromptu stops in the middle of the road Wednesday, according to a Columbus Police report.

When officers pulled over 50-year-old Nathaniel Green at about 1:25 p.m., they received permission to search his car and found an unspecified amount of cocaine.

Green was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug related objects, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and loitering and prowling. He was taken to Muscogee county Jail.
