Woman reports child's father grabbed, punched her

A woman told police that the father of her child grabbed her by her hair and punched her in the face, according to a Columbus Police report.

Around 4:15 p.m. Sunday, the victim arrived at the apartment of her child's father in order to pick up some money to buy food for the boy, police said. Upon arrival, she reported the boy got out of the car to find his father.

About that time, Reginald Landers, the father of the boy and suspect in the crime, reportedly came out of the apartment on Grapevine Trail and began yelling at the victim while she was still sitting in the car.

The victim told police that's when Landers ran to the driver's side window, grabbed her hair and punched her face. Police reported upon arrival the victim's lower lip was bleeding.

According to the reports, no one was arrested.
