LaGrange: Stepfather stabbed, retaliates with hammer

LaGrange Police found two men covered in blood Monday evening after a stepson allegedly stabbed his stepfather, according to a press release.

Officers responded to the area of Forrest Avenue and Forrest Place at about 4:35 p.m. Monday, after receiving reports of a stabbing. The victim told police that his stepson, Quanderrious Foster, attacked him with a knife when he came to check on him earlier in the evening.

In retaliation, the victim told police he hit Foster with a hammer.

Both men were treated at West Georgia Hospital.

Foster has been charged with aggravated assault and will be held in the Troup County Jail.
