Police: Nine armed robberies cleared after three arrests

With the arrest of three men, police believe they have found the culprits in nine armed robberies that affected businesses in the Warm Springs Road, Manchester Expressway and Milgen Road area, according to a press release.

Dominique Hugh Leonard, 17, William Leonard, 20, and Darius Pollard, 17, are suspected in nine burglaries committed between Oct. 11 and Nov. 16.

Business affected include the Veterans Parkway Pleasure World, the twice robbed Manchester Expressway Captain D's and Circle K gas stations on Milgen Road and 12th Avenue.

Also included in the spree are two Summit gas stations on Warm Springs Road and Williams Way, the Domino's Pizza on Milgen Road and the LaQuinta Inn on Warm Springs Road.

Pollard is charged with 12 counts of aggravated assault — a count which includes individuals robbed inside the businesses. He also faces 11 counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

William Leonard is charged 10 counts of armed robbery and possession of marijuana.

Dominique Leonard is charged with 7 counts of armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault and seven counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

All three men were booked into Muscogee County Jail.

Those charges will be heard Thursday at 9 a.m. in Recorder's Court.
