Mount Pisgah 40, Pacelli 7: No. 15 Vikings fall to undefeated Mount Pisgah

FROM STAFF REPORTSNovember 22, 2013

ALPHARETTA, Ga. --The No. 15 Pacelli Vikings made the postseason for the first time since 2007, but the first round of the GHSA Class A private school playoffs saw Pacelli lose to undefeated Mount Pisgah (No. 2) 40-7 Friday night.

Mount Pisgah's spread offense (and quarterback committed to Tulsa) proved too much for the Vikings, whose only score came in the fourth quarter on a 12-yard pass from Wyatt Peterson to Bryan Foster.

Mount Pisgah had a 40-0 lead going into halftime, and the Vikings were unable to overcome this deficit.
