Prince Avenue 51, Brookstone 0: Prince Avenue shuts out, eliminates Brookstone

BOGART, Ga. -- Brookstone was eliminated from the Class A private school state playoffs Friday 51-0 by Prince Avenue Christian School.

The Wolverines used the Wing T offense to score seven rushing touchdowns in the first three quarters. Prince running back Zantravious Shields scored three touchdowns on runs of 16, 48 and 40 yards.

Brookstone primarily ran a spread offense with four wide receivers. but Cougars quarterback Jaqwon Roberts was routinely harassed in the backfield and sacked multiple times.

He also threw two interceptions in the first half setting up Prince touchdowns.

Brookstone finished the season 6-5, while Prince, last year's state runner up, moved to 10-1 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs.
