Two would-be burglars failed to kick their way into a Macon Road home Saturday, according to a Columbus Police report.

A resident of the 4300 block home told police his wife was playing video games with their son at about 8:50 p.m. Suddenly, she heard a loud noise at the back door. The woman ran out the front door and toward a neighbor's house in an attempt to get help. After she called police and her husband, she saw two men fleeing from behind her residence.

The suspects were described as 17 to 20-year-old black men. One was slim, with all black clothing. The other was wearing a gray hoodie, jeans and a black coat.
