High School Roundup: Several area players named to all-star game

Players from the Bi-City area dominate the West roster for the third annual Georgia Sports Alliance All-Star Senior Football Game.

Shaw -- Jacorey Butler, De'Andre Howard, Jakobi Long.

Manchester -- Darius Alford, Devante Davis.

Carver -- Timothy London, Cardarius Smith

Northside -- Jonathan Karastory, Victor Ballesteros, Blake Pace

Hardaway -- Walter Palmer, Treavon Davis, David Hall

Spencer -- Taravarska Davis, Damarkus Robins, Douglas Turner

Pacelli -- Wyatt Peterson

Jordan -- Darnell White, Damon Lewis

Kendrick -- Marvis Lewis.

The head coach for the West team will be Shaw's Kyle Adkins.

The game is scheduled for Dec. 21, at 1 p.m., at DeFore Sports Complex in Macon. The East has won the first two GSA All-Star games.

The Georgia Athletic Coaches Association All-Star game, which is for players with eligibility left, will be played at 2 p.m. Dec. 30 at A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium. The rosters for that game have not been announced.

Four Tigers were in double figures in a close win over Northside.

DK Sturgess led Carver with 17 points and Kimion Woods added 15.
