Possible arson being investigated in LaGrange

A fire Sunday morning in LaGrange, Ga. appears to be arson.

According to a police report, at approximately 4:40 a.m. members of the LaGrange Fire Department and the LaGrange Police Department responded to a house fire at 1010 Truitt Avenue.

Upon arrival, the fire had already been extinguished by the tenants.

Further investigation revealed that someone had forced a door open at the location while the tenants were away. The fire appeared to have been intentionally set.

The damage to the house was minimal. Nobody was injured.

Anyone with information should contact the LaGrange police.
