Carver High student reports being beaten and robbed

A 15-year-old Carver High student told Columbus police he was beaten and robbed Saturday night.

According to the police report, the boy was struck with a closed fist and pushed to the ground. A small bump near his right eye was noticed by police officers.

The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. in the area of Baldwin Street and 8th Street.

The boy told police he was attacked in the street by four black males. No physical description was provided by the victim.

Taken was an Apple iPad, black and silver in color, with an estimated value of $200.
