Packers sign RB Bell

Green Bay, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Green Bay Packers signed running back Kahlil Bell on Tuesday and released safety Jerron McMillian.

Bell has appeared in 24 games with three starts over his three-year career, compiling 633 yards on 148 carries while adding 22 catches for 150 yards and a touchdown with the Chicago Bears (2009-12) and New York Jets (2012).

McMillian had appeared in all 12 of Green Bay's games this season, registering 15 tackles and one pass defensed while starting two games.

Green Bay also signed cornerback Antonio Dennard to the practice squad on Tuesday.
