Pierre-Paul to miss second straight week

East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul will sit out a second consecutive game when his team travels to San Diego for Sunday's clash with the Chargers.

Both Pierre-Paul, who was inactive for the Giants' 24-17 win at Washington last week with a lingering shoulder injury, and cornerback Corey Webster have been officially ruled out for Sunday's tilt. Webster, who has been limited to just four games this season due to various ailments, will miss a fifth straight contest with a high ankle sprain.

Running back Brandon Jacobs, meanwhile, is listed as doubtful to face the Chargers because of a knee injury that kept him out of the Washington game as well.

Cornerback Trumaine McBride (groin), who had been starting in Webster's place, is considered questionable for this weekend's matchup. He also was inactive for last Sunday's win, but practiced on a limited basis all throughout the week.
