Police seek gunman in Wise Street shooting

Columbus police are searching for a gunman after shots were fired at a man near the intersection of Bond Avenue and Wise Street.

The 31-year-old man was not injured in the assault attempt in the road early Friday, police said.

Police were called to a home in Oakland Park to check on shots fired. The victim told officers that he had been shot at while walking in the street.

The gunman is described as black, 29-years-old, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was driving a white Dodge Avenger.

No suspect has been arrested as the investigation continues.
