Recap: Wofford vs. William & Mary

Spartanburg, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - Led by 17 points from Tim Rusthoven, the William & Mary Tribe nipped the Wofford Terriers, 63-60, in a non- conference tilt at Benjamin Johnson Arena.

For the Tribe (5-4), Marcus Thornton added 15 points.

Spencer Collins led the Terriers (3-5) with 15 points, while Jaylen Allen scored 13, Karl Cochran chipped in with 11 points and Lee Skinner pulled down 11 rebounds.

The Tribe connected on 55 percent of their field goal tries in the first half, but were just 2-of-7 from 3-point distance. Wofford shot just 39.1 percent from the field in the half and missed all but one of its eight 3-point tries, as the teams entered halftime tied at 27-27.

In the second half, the Tribe continued to shoot the ball well, making 57.1 percent of their field goal tries, while holding the Terriers to just 37.5 percent shooting after the break, to escape with the victory.

Wofford had the edge on the boards, outrebounding William & Mary 35-26. The Tribe outscored the Terriers in the paint, 34-26.
