Logan, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Andrew Bock led all scorers with 18 points as the Pacific Tigers downed the Utah State Aggies, 78-68, in a non-conference bout at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
Bock did his damage on 6-of-11 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line for Pacific (7-1), which has won three straight. T.J. Wallace and Ross Rivera were both effective off the bench with 15 and 11 points, respectively.
For Utah State (5-2), Jarred Shaw tallied 17 points and seven rebounds, Marcel Davis scored 13 points, and Spencer Butterfield logged 11 points and eight boards.
Pacific connected on 53.3 percent of its field goal attempts in the first half, while Utah State made only 39.1 percent of its tries, as the Tigers carried a 37-29 lead into intermission.
The Tigers' efficiency from the floor dipped to 46.4 percent after the break, but they never surrendered their lead.
Pacific scored 15 points off of 12 Utah State turnovers. The Tigers committed just four miscues themselves, which the Aggies were unable to convert into any points.
